Somebody To Consider

The Atlanta Thrashers have made some changes this morning:

The Atlanta Thrashers have made sweeping changes to the front office following a disappointing 2009-10 season.

Don Waddell has been named team president and Rick Dudley will take over as the Thrashers’ general manager. In addition, the contracts of head coach John Anderson and assistant coaches Randy Cunneyworth, Todd Nelson and Steve Weeks will not be renewed.

Waddell will now be in charge of all business aspects of the teams and Dudley will handle hockey operations.

John Anderson was former coach of the Chicago Wolves and if I recall correctly, he used to compete very well against Claude Noel who was at Milwaukee.  Anderson has been a coach who won four championships with Chicago.  If he can remove the stink from Atlanta, he is a viable candidate.
