“What we saw in the regular season is not who they are; what we’re seeing now is what they’re capable of.”  Ken Hitchock made this statement today.  Other than the mild charge of “Red Wings are cheating on faceoffs,” the Blue Jacket players and coaches have been very respectful of the defending Stanley Cup Champions.  I don’t know why Red Wing fans think Michael Arace or Aaron Portzline speak for the team.

I wasn’t offended when Mike Babcock said that the Jackets have journeymen defensemen.  So put this to rest, Red Wing fans.  Most of the Jacket fans will cheer on Detroit if they are the ones that move on.  Jacket fans can be OSU fans, but there are a lot of people who cheer both.  The majority of Jacket fans were upset during the last Red Wing regular season game when the Nationwide Arena game entertainment people ran videos trying to build on the anti-Michigan feelings.  It was stupid and embarrassing.
